Hayley is a corporate and commercial lawyer specialising in technology, intellectual property, outsourcing and commercial procurement. She also advises clients on marketing and sales matters, including supply and purchase contracts and terms of trade.
Hayley has broad general commercial experience and particular interest and expertise in the areas of information technology and commercialisation of intellectual property, sponsorship, media and advertising.
Hayley has extensive experience on a wide range of technology-based transactions, including outsourcing and service contracting, technology protection, e-commerce and telecommunications contracts. She also advises on technology licensing, development, supply and acquisition, installation, implementation, distribution, support and maintenance.
Having worked at Bell Gully from 1999 to 2005, she returned in 2009 from UK law firm Ashurst LLP where, as a senior associate, she also advised on major acquisitions, sales and joint ventures.
Hayley is skilled at dealing with general contractual issues and, during her time in the UK, advised major European companies on a variety of commercial and technology contracts.
She brings to Bell Gully particular expertise in outsourcing, procurement and service contracting, having advised on major international transactions in the UK and significant local arrangements here in New Zealand.
