Murray regularly acts for banks, receivers, liquidators and statutory managers. He regularly presents arguments in the High Court and Court of Appeal and successfully argued the first case under the Personal Property Securities Act.
Murray currently acts for the receivers of a number of finance companies, including Bridgecorp Finance Ltd, and has successfully brought recovery claims on their behalf.
An insolvency specialist with extensive knowledge and experience on all matters related to insolvency, Murray regularly speaks at specialist conferences and is a contributing author of Heath and Whale on Insolvency.
Earlier in his career, Murray spent three years with Clifford Chance in London, where he specialised in banking and insolvency litigation.
