Murray King
Murray specialises in banking and finance and is an experienced adviser across a broad range of capital markets and lending transactions.
He has particular experience in acquisition financing and a well established securitisation practice. Murray advises some of our leading corporate clients on their funding requirements including the Rank Group of companies and Fletcher Building Limited as well as acting for a number of leading financial institutions such as ANZ National Bank Limited, Bank of New Zealand, BNP Paribas, Citibank and Goldman Sachs.
Chambers Asia Pacific 2012 states that Murray's "experience is probably better than any other lawyer in New Zealand", with the previous edition describing him as "a prominent partner in the banking practice, whose experience, efficiency and common sense are praised by clients."
The IFLR1000 2012 names Murray as a leading lawyer in banking and finance and in capital markets, with clients commenting he is "very good, responsive and commercial" and his "ability to advise on complex issues is outstanding." Murray is also listed as a leading individual in banking and finance in the Asia Pacific Legal 500 2011/2012.
