Boston, London and back to Bell Gully
Rachel Paris has returned to law firm Bell Gully as a senior associate after four years working and studying in the US and UK.
Beginning her career with Bell Gully's banking and finance team, Rachel left to join Harvard Law School's Masters in Law programme. One of only 12 students selected for its International Finance programme, Rachel's study also featured media and entertainment law.
After graduating from Harvard in 2003, Rachel joined London law firm Allen & Overy's Projects Group, advising blue-chip clients on the financing and structuring of major global infrastructure and acquisition projects.
She went on to join Olswang, the UK's leading technology and media law firm, advising major studios such as The Walt Disney Company and Warner Bros Inc., as well as leading independent film producers, on film production and GAAP financing structures, and sale and leaseback transactions.
Rachel is based in Bell Gully's Auckland office, where she will advise on banking and finance matters.
