Entrepreneurs head to Waitangi for MORGO

Nothing Ventured is the theme for this year's major conference for entrepreneurs to be held at Waitangi this week.

MORGO is an invitation-only gathering for entrepreneurs and executives and advisers working with them to create and grow exciting new ventures. It will be held 2-3 September.

The event has attracted a line-up of local and international speakers from innovating businesses including Steve Bayliss from Air NZ, Neil Cowie of Pumpkin Patch, Jeff Gordon of OpenCloud (UK) and Naomi Simson of RedBalloon (Australia).

As well as entrepreneurs, the programme also includes practical sessions delivered by advisers working with start-up and growing companies, including Bell Gully.

Bell Gully is a long-time supporter and main sponsor of MORGO.

Partners David Flacks and Dean Oppenhuis will participate in a session on "Going Global - finance & legal issues" with an adviser from PricewaterhouseCoopers.
